Is The Super Bowl As Exciting As Your Life The Clock Is Ticking
The Super Bowl is for millions of people, the game's most exciting in the world. Each year more than 100,000 Americans will gather to watch the game, much as if their lives depend on it. What does this say about us as human beings? What does this say about our values?
And if we were to play the exciting game of our lives with that name? What if there was to create a better future for our children much more exciting than who wins the Super Bowl Sunday?
Increasingly seen the news about 9 / 11 as the Super Bowl to see. How many crises that will require us all to wake up and the game we play, simply because of the 21st Century? Terrorism, war, extreme poverty, AIDS, substance abuse, depression, global warming, pollution, crime, corruption in the game is much higher than the Super Bowl, but how many of us play when we had the ball in his hands, and it belongs to us?
Unfortunately, many people take on the challenges that we humans now, but the audience as if they see us any time to lose, in short supply.
Talk, talk, talk, and talk more. Everybody talks about change. As chair shifts, many good intentions, good people talk about the margin of life, talk, criticize and complain that others are doing or not doing.

We, as human beings in the game of life, often as if our ideas and our voices will not make a difference, but what we want or do not affect the match result. Sitting at home crying on TV instead of the politicians with your voice heard in public, made a difference in the outcome of the match. This is an excellent strategy to lose the game of life. Complain about everything and as if you can not do much, he influenced the outcome of the game only really matters – life. When we decided to be an armchair quarterback in the game of life, we can choose for the future, we could create for our children lose.
For the moment we do not need more good people who understand very well. Right now the world needs great people. We need to master. But more than that, what we need is people who are simply more willing to leave the chair, turn off the TV and get on the field. Size begins to act with determination.
One of the most dangerous illusions of today is the idea that people with political power to rule the world and the only reason to change the real power. Nothing could be further from the truth. Take a look around. The world you see has not been created by politicians. It was by entrepreneurs, artists, inventors, industrious workers, etc. People have created all the strength we need a better world is now in our minds and hearts to create. It is our creative and intellectual and heroic spirit that we have more power than all the political and military power in the world. Yet we often do as if the device is switched on without us.
Remember that you have the ball. You can use it from now on. You can redeem points on the board and influence the outcome of this game called life, not only for yourself but for your team as humanity.
The game clock ticks a multitude of crises that threaten the future of our children. We will all value on the line.
