Super Bowl Xliii is Arriving
Following a very tied semifinals of the NFL, from which the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals went out victorious by defeating the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles respectively, now arrives the great final in which will be disputed the highest trophy of the American football, in the 43rd edition of the Super Bowl.
With the same ambition and dedication the Cardinals and Steelers will face in a hard-fought encounter, in which each will demonstrate the distinct method of playing they have. It will be a spectacle loaded of countless emotions in which will be measure the potent offense of one against the defense of the other. Both teams, who already are in Tampa, Florida, knew very well that it won’t be an easy labor; therefore they must have to give their biggest effort in order to obtain the precious trophy.
Arizona Cardinals, champions of the National Conference, have the chance to participate for the first in their history at a Super Bowl, aspect that turns them into the second favorite to win. Besides, their irregular participation during this season _in spite of arriving to the great final_ and their poor strike of winnings, are other factors that Arizona will have to deal with, which makes them the fight more difficult.
On the other hand, the fact of being for the very first time in a Super Bowl is helping the Cardinals to stay motivated; after all they have figured out the way to overcome the bad times they had been through, leaving all the critics and mocks they got behind. For the moment and to keep the rhythm, the team is trying to be a little disconnected from all the activities previous to the encounter, on an intend to maintain all their concentration in the match that could make them write the best page in their records.
Arizona has achieved a great positive change on its performance on the football field, which helped them exceed the expectations from those who said the Cards had no chance of moving forward. Stay together has been one of the main keys for this team that with the support of great players such as Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald and the veteran quarterback, Kurt Warner, is now ready to the last stand.
For Pittsburgh, the glorious champions of the American Conference, the Super Bowl environment isn’t unfamiliar at all, since on the contrary they count with the experience of participating in six occasions and winning five of them. Based on the triumph growth and the good performance they had on the current campaign, the Steelers are the favorite to win. Therefore are trying to hold on to the positive energy they have worked with and that previously brought them to the final.
With no doubt Pittsburgh will give us a great show, on its battle for a sixth title. Once again the weight of the team will be on the shoulders of the QB Ben Roethlisberger, who was an important piece on the Steelers fifth victory in the Super Bowl XL (2005). Ben along with Troy Polamalu will be the ones in charge of holding the contrary offense, with the purpose of demonstrate the strength with which its team defense can impose.
